cheers
Bowling for Columbine won an Oscar for Best Documentary -
ACCEPTANCE SPEECH
Michael Moore: Whoa. On behalf of our producers Kathleen Glynn and Michael Donovan from Canada, I'd like to thank the Academy for this. I have invited my fellow documentary nominees on the stage with us, and we would like to — they're here in solidarity with me because we like nonfiction. We like nonfiction and we live in fictitious times. We live in the time where we have fictitious election results that elects a fictitious president. We live in a time where we have a man sending us to war for fictitious reasons. Whether it's the fictition of duct tape or fictition of orange alerts we are against this war, Mr. Bush. Shame on you, Mr. Bush, shame on you. And any time you got the Pope and the Dixie Chicks against you, your time is up. Thank you very much.

chaps with no pants
was the highlight of the evening, as the guy had cute buns. otherwise saw two pairs of bare breasts, three other random ass cheeks, and a lady flashed her kitty cat (to put it nicely) as we strolled across the dance floor.
this is of course in reference to the art show/fetish ball we went to on saturday. otherwise it was a bit of a disappointment. overcharged admission, and let too many people in so viewing the pieces was not possible. i had to drive so i couldn't drink, and i was stuck with an unsociable companion that kept me from meeting new people. ah but such is life, it was still neat to see the outfits, and a few people asked to take my picture, so i guess i looked pretty cute.
i went mod, as i can do it so well, with heeled brown leather boots that came to the knee, skin-colored tights with a touch of sheen, and a sheer powder-blue dress with little silver reflective discs scattered across it over a small spaghetti-strap slip. i did my hair slick parted to one side, with false eyelashes, thick black eyeliner, and white lipstick. groovy, baby.
then we went to the opolis (the ills) / the deli (the rounders), and had an after-party at ty's, and boyd from the ills came. we had such a nice conversation about indian drums. it was an all-together very satisfying evening.
i'm leaving for south by southwest on wednesday at midnight, but i will be back late sunday. i will be in town pretty much all next week so if anyone wants to hang out in the evenings give me a ringy-ding.

i don't feel good. i poured the rest of the vodka and kahlua into an intoxicating mixture with a ridiculously small amount of milk. perhaps that will help, perhaps it won't. i have been lazy today and as a result i feel like shit. similar results every time i'm lazy, you would think i would have learned my lesson by now, but damnit, sometimes that bed is just so cozy you want to sleep until three.
we're going to the biting the apple erotic art show this weekend. i get to dress like a harlot. should be fun! it's nice to have plans.
what's the craziest/sexiest thing you ever wore?
