west side story is on TCM! i get to beat out the bongo beats on my leg, for the scene that comes after the rumble, and the piercing xylophone rolls - just like i was 15 again playing for the pit in the high school production. sometimes high school was nice.
it is freezing cold in my apartment.
last night i went to the legion hall with ty and sir jeffrey, and i made a new friend. her name is geneiveve and she is a drama student, who is giving me her extra table side ticket to the OU production of cabaret in the spring. after the show i bought her a shot of vodka at the deli, and we discussed movies, and then soaked in ty's hot tub and admired the snow on the grass. it was an all-together lovely evening.
it's cold, and there is laundry to do. my toes curl up and are chilly. i'm out of mozerella cheese -

relive the past, read the archives.
kurt vonnegut is my hero
and hearing him speak has inspired me to return to the old fashioned form of journaling, so as not to limit the millions of things i have to say in fear of people's perceptions. and so to those who do still read (cheers to the four of you), keep an eye out because i will post eventually as interesting ideas strike me.
they're ALWAYS after me lucky charms.

i am craving french fries with a side of mayo. but i'm also kinda tired. i wish there was a 24-hour dive close to my place, but as the fates would have it, i will have to drive to get my fries. wish me luck.
my birthday party is going to be on friday at my friend's down the street. he (ty) made business card sized-invitations, of which i was so happy about i gave them all away to people at the deli who probably won't even come, and so there are none left for my friends. BUT christie and karen and mary know, and i know, so if you want to come, call one of us to find out how.
it's on friday at 8pm sharp.
there will be cake.
